Canucks Convincing In 4-2 Victory Over Montreal -- Canada.com

Vancouver takes 10th win in last 11 games against Habs

Beating the Montreal Canadiens has become downright Hab-it forming for the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks defeated Montreal for the 10th time in the last 11 meetings between the teams as they skated to a convincing 4-2 victory Sunday night at GM Place.

The win vaulted the Canucks from a tie for eighth spot into sole possession of fifth place in the NHL's tight Western Conference.

The Canucks led from start to finish in this one and were the better team all night.

The victory was Vancouver's fifth in its last six games and came during what was a brief pit stop at home. The Canucks now head out on the road for four games as they continue a journey that sees them play eight games in eight different cities.
