The Salon du Livre is at Place Bonaventure beginning Nov. 18, and the theme this year is Le livre, une affaire de famille (The Book, a Family Affair).
“Books have always been a family affair for me,” Salon honorary president Mireille Deyglun said Tuesday. “My father was one of the most voracious readers I have ever come across. He transmitted his love of books to me and I am trying to do the same with my children – although it is a more difficult thing to do with the Internet playing a larger role in children’s lives these days.”
