$12.3M Allegedly Siphoned By Disgraced Financier -- Montreal Gazette

MONTREAL — Disgraced financier Earl Jones siphoned $12.3 million out of the Earl Jones Corp. between 1987 and 2009, according to an accounting firm's report made public Tuesday.

The accounting firm of RSM Richter Inc. presented their preliminary findings of an audit of Earl Jones' books that is incomplete, since many documents from 2000 to 2008 are missing. RSM Richter will petition the financial institutions for copies of these documents.

The findings of RSM Richter were unveiled to Jones' creditors at a meeting Tuesday in Pointe Claire, Que. — a Montreal suburb.
