Montreal's Jewish Community Gets Federal Funding for protection against Hate Crimes

The Ben Wieder Center in Snowdon was firebombed over two years ago as part of a hate motivated attack against Jewish institutions.

It's among ten Jewish schools and cultural centers getting 223-thousand dollars for more security cameras, closed circuit tv's and other security equipment.

"No one should live in fear," Minister of Immigration Jason Kenney said, as he made the announcement in Montreal on behalf of the federal government.
