Ten men have worn the captain's C for the Canadiens since Henri Richard retired in 1975.
There will be another, the 28th captain in franchise history. But one of hockey's greatest stars, and perhaps its most lion-hearted leader, wonders whether the only NHL club for which he played need sew a C on any jersey.
