Hurricane Bill To Spare City

By passing Montreal, most of Quebec, to rattle Nova Scotia.

No need to batten down the hatches. Environment Canada is saying Hurricane Bill will spare Montreal and most of Quebec while Nova Scotia will take a beating.

"Bill will probably be a Category One hurricane when it reaches the coast of Nova Scotia,"André Cantin, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said yesterday.
