My Comment: While the focus is on terrorism, the problem resides in our open door immigration policies. My mother has lived in LaSalle for almost 50 years. Just 6 blocks away is an area which has become a dumping ground for refugee claimants .... and a high crime area. Stores have closed down because of shop lifting and other crimes, and long time residents are moving out. Even my 83 year old mother is thinking of moving out.
