MONTREAL -- Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay says he’ll put pressure on the owners of the building housing the Marriott Residence Inn to come up with an engineer’s report attesting to the building’s safety.
A piece of concrete fell off the 18th storey of the Peel St. building on July 16, killing 33-year-old Léa Guilbeault and injuring her husband Hani Beitinjaneh, 33, as they dined in the ground floor restaurant, Mikasa Sushi Bar.
