Hoodstock; Police presence 'to reassure the population' of Montreal North.

MONTREAL — It's a weekend of commemoration sparked by the fatal shooting one year ago by Montreal police of an unarmed 18-year-old.

But anyone who thinks Montreal police will keep a low profile during the two-day event called Hoodstock, the meandering "family march" that follows it or during the vigil planned Sunday to remember Fredy Villanueva, had better think again.
