MONTREAL – It’s unclear when it could be built, but a city-commissioned study says Montreal’s first tramway line should link Old Montreal, downtown and Côte des Neiges Rd. at a cost of $500 million to $750 million.
Made public Friday, the study suggests the tram should run for 12.5 kilometers along Peel, De La Commune and Berri Streets and René Lévesque Blvd., and then take Guy St. to Côte des Neiges, continuing to Jean Talon St.

My Comment: More money for the city while the West Island suburbs do without a proper bus service.
