Oppressive Heat Spell Should Break Tuesday


From Montreal Gazette:

The oppressive heat that has lingered over the Montreal region for the last five days is expected to continue on Tuesday, but relief may finally be on the horizon.

A high heat and humidity warning will remain in effect throughout the day on Tuesday, with Environment Canada advising the public to stay indoors, drink plenty of water and avoid strenuous physical activity.

People with respiratory diseases and the elderly may be especially vulnerable to the high temperatures.
