Patrol on bikes Drivers' bane, tourists' gain.
One look at the bulging muscles on Benoît Boudreau's calves and you can tell he spends most of his workday on a bicycle.
Boudreau is one of 18 parking inspectors who patrol the city's streets on bikes, rather than in those dreaded little cars, looking for parking violations and issuing tickets.
The city of Montreal had parking inspectors on bikes for years, but after Montreal police took over parking inspection from Parking Montreal in 2007, the cycling inspectors disappeared briefly.
