Getting predictions for August is like pulling teeth. How about: 'Who knows?'
The good news? We didn't get anywhere near the record for rain for the month of July. That was 183 millimetres back in 1980.
The bad news? We did set a record for the least hours of sunshine ever recorded for the month just ended.
The Montreal region saw a mere 197 hours of sun as of midnight July 30, easily smashing the previous record of 231 hours in both 1980 and 1992.
