School Boards Left To Decide On Swine Flu Plan

Lester B. Pearson awaits directives but Quebec says it won't issue any.

MONTREAL – Quebec schools are bracing for a second wave of swine flu as the onset of flu season - the cold and dry months when the incidence of influenza rises tenfold - coincides with back-to-school time.

But at least one Montreal area school board is not planning to follow the example of two Quebec City boards that have announced pregnant teachers will be kept at home because of the flu threat.

My Comment: Don't worry, be happy .... this is the government's response to a possible flu pandemic.
